Preparation Of An At Home Massage

Before our team arrives, we ask that you choose where the services will take place. There should be enough space for the massage table(s) and for the therapist to move around. Our therapists are happy to assist in moving furniture and making space for the services. Furthermore, consider the privacy of your chosen location as well. However, this service is for you; if you welcome interruptions, we will too.

Beyond choosing a space, keep your comfort in mind. You may wish to adjust the temperature or wash up before your service. Our team will provide spa music unless you choose to provide your own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I see a massage therapist if I’m not in pain?

Of course, massage offers many physical and mental health benefits and is an essential element of self-care. It also helps prevent injuries and promotes healthy recovery of muscles and tissues.

Do I have to take my clothes off?

Simply, no. We do ask that you remove your clothing to your comfort level. Keep in mind that clothing is a boundary for a massage therapist, and we will respect that boundary.

What if I fall asleep and drool or snore?

Falling asleep during a massage is perfectly normal. There will be, of course, no judgment. Massage therapists see it even as a compliment.

Should I talk to the therapist during my massage?

Talking during your service is a matter of preference. Some people feel more relaxed chatting during their massage but feel forced to converse. However, be sure to speak up if you are uncomfortable, want more or less pressure, or have any questions.
